I work at the intersection of land, relationship, and human development.
My work is shaped by years of practice as a social worker, educator, and community collaborator in rural contexts, and most often with Indigenous children and their families. In this space, I am a guest, where I continue to learn and respect ways of knowing and relating.
I am interested in how connection to place, to spirit, to culture, and to one another molds identity, regulation and the ways in which we arrive as ourselves.
This body of work is continuously moving between micro and macro systems: individuals, family relationships, school engagement, marginalized communities, and broader systems of care.
My fundamental philosophy is grounded in attention, context, and relational responsibility.
Blessings,
